Privacy Policy

How Biond Marketing collects, uses and protects personal data, in line with Singapore's PDPA and, where it applies, the EU GDPR.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how BIOND MARKETING PTE. LTD. (UEN 202601970G) ("Biond Marketing", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA") and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

It applies to personal data collected through this website and in the course of providing our marketing consultancy services.

2. What personal data is

Personal data is data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data alone, or from that data combined with other information we have access to. Examples include:

  • Name, email address, company name and telephone number
  • Information you enter in our contact form, in emails or in scheduling tools
  • IP address and website usage information, where it can identify an individual

3. How we collect personal data

We generally collect personal data when you:

  • Submit the contact form on our website
  • Book a meeting through Calendly
  • Email us directly
  • Engage us for services
  • Browse our website

If you give us personal data about another individual, such as a colleague, you confirm that you have their consent to do so.

4. How we use personal data

  • Responding to enquiries and scheduling meetings
  • Providing marketing strategy and execution services
  • Managing client relationships and performing contracts
  • Understanding how visitors use our website and improving it
  • Complying with legal or regulatory requirements

We collect only what is needed for a legitimate business purpose. We do not sell personal data.

5. Legal basis where GDPR applies

  • Consent, for example when you submit a form or choose to share information
  • Legitimate interests, for example replying to business enquiries and improving our website
  • Contract, when you engage us for services
  • Legal obligation, where we must keep or disclose information

6. Who we share personal data with

We share personal data with trusted service providers only where needed:

  • Hostinger, for website hosting, including contact form submissions stored on our website
  • Porkbun, for domain registration
  • Calendly, for meeting scheduling
  • Google Analytics 4, for website analytics, only where you accept analytics cookies
  • Zoho CRM, for client relationship management
  • Email and communication providers we use for business correspondence

These providers process personal data on our behalf or in connection with services we use, and are expected to keep appropriate data protection standards. We may also disclose personal data where required by law, legal process or a lawful request from public authorities.

7. International transfers

As a Singapore company serving clients in Southeast Asia and Europe, personal data may be processed outside your country of residence. We take reasonable steps to make sure appropriate safeguards are in place under applicable data protection laws.

8. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for business or contractual purposes, managing client and prospect relationships, legal and regulatory compliance, and defending potential legal claims. After that, it is securely deleted or anonymised where reasonably possible.

9. Analytics, cookies and tracking

Matomo Analytics

We use Matomo for privacy-friendly analytics. Matomo runs within our own website environment, is configured without tracking cookies and anonymises IP addresses, so we do not use it to identify individual visitors. It records information such as pages visited, referring sources, approximate location, device and browser type, and time of visit, only to understand and improve the website. You can opt out of Matomo tracking at any time by emailing us or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser.

Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics 4 is only loaded when you accept optional analytics cookies. It may use cookies to measure pages visited, traffic sources, device and browser information and interaction patterns. Where accepted, we may use Google signals for aggregated demographic and interest reports based on eligible signed-in Google users who allow it. These reports are aggregated and are not used to identify individual visitors.

Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies needed for it to work. Optional analytics cookies are only set if you accept them. Third-party tools such as Calendly may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. We do not use advertising pixels, remarketing or user-provided data collection for advertising.

10. Google API data

Biond Marketing uses an internal tool, the Biond Keyword Tool, that connects to the Google Ads API through OAuth. It reads keyword search volume data from Biond's own Google Ads account and does not collect or store personal data of other users. Credentials are kept on a private server and used only by Biond staff. Data from Google APIs is used only to plan content for clients and is never sold. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, loss, misuse or alteration. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

  • Request access to, or correction of, your personal data
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Request deletion or restriction of processing, or object to certain processing
  • Ask how your personal data has been used or disclosed
  • Lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority, such as Singapore's PDPC

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, our business or the tools we use. The latest version is always on this page, with the effective date shown at the top.
